Pella Christian Eagles (Pella, IA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pekin Panthers (Packwood, IA), 83-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pella Christian upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Grinnell (Grinnell, IA) to play the Tigers in a Little Hawkeye bout on Friday, January 27. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-6.

Next up, the Panthers play the Columbus Wildcats (Columbus Junction, IA) in a SEI - North bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Pekin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record.
