Temecula Prep Patriots (Winchester, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), 71-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Temecula Prep upgrades its record to 9-10 on the season. The Patriots travel to Santa Rosa Academy (Menifee, CA) to clash with the Rangers in a South Valley bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Rangers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Santa Rosa Academy won 79-32 in their recent league bout against San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA)

Next up, the clash with the Utica Academy of Science Atoms (Utica, NY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Varsity Opponent will attempt to upgrade on its 252-792 season record. The Atoms go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Seton Catholic Central (Binghamton, NY).
