The Williamstown Yellowjackets basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Weir Red Riders to 64 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tyler for a Little Kanawha - West contest on Thursday, January 19. Williamstown will meet a Knights team coming off a 55-53 league loss to Ravenswood (Ravenswood, WV). The Knights record now stands at 4-7.
The Red Riders (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Golden Bears enter the Freelance contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Oak Glen was outscored by Wellsville (Wellsville, OH), 71-56, in a non-league contest.
