North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Guilford tipped by Alexander Central

January 16, 2023: Greensboro, NC 27409

The Alexander Central Cougars basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Northwest Guilford Vikings to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cougars now sport a 14-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hibriten for a 3A/4A Conference 52 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Alexander Central will meet a Panthers team coming off a 48-45 league win over Watauga (Boone, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 16-1.

The Vikings (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC). The Cowboys enter the 4A Conference 55 contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Southwest Guilford nudged Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC), 50-38, in a league contest.
