The West De Pere Phantoms basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Appleton North Lightning to 41 in the Phantoms non-league triumph on Monday.

In their next game, the Phantoms face the Green Bay East Red Devils (Green Bay, WI) in a Bay game, on Tuesday, January 17. West De Pere will attempt to move on its 12-3 season record. The Red Devils enter the game with a 1-13 record after their 63-16 league loss to Menasha (Menasha, WI).

With the defeat, Appleton North moves to 6-7 on the year. The Lightning host Appleton East (Appleton, WI) to face the Patriots in a Fox Valley game on Tuesday, January 17. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 7-8. Appleton East won 68-34 in their recent league game against Oshkosh North (Oshkosh, WI)
