Green Bay Southwest Fighting Trojans (Green Bay, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Appleton West Terrors (Appleton, WI), 66-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Green Bay Southwest upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Fighting Trojans host Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI) to play the Hornets in a Fox River Classic bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Green Bay Preble lost 59-56 in their recent league bout against Manitowoc Lincoln (Manitowoc, WI)

Next up, the Terrors play the Fond du Lac Cardinals (Fond du Lac, WI) in a Fox Valley bout, on Friday, January 20. Appleton West will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 66-34 non-league win over D.C. Everest (Schofield, WI).
