Aquinas Knights (Louisville, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host David Anderson Blue Devils (Lisbon, OH), 56-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Aquinas upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Knights host Southeast (Ravenna, OH) to play the Pirates in a Portage Trail bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 10-5. Southeast won 43-39 in their recent non-league bout against Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the East Liverpool Potters (East Liverpool, OH) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. David Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-10 season record. The Potters go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 56-32 league win over Edison (Richmond, OH).
