The Boone Central Cardinals (Albion, NE) basketball felled the host St. Paul Wildcats (St. Paul, NE), 49-31 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Scotus (Columbus, NE). The Shamrocks go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Scotus was beaten by North Bend Central (North Bend, NE), 40-28, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Minden for a C1 District 9 test on Tuesday, January 17. St. Paul will encounter a Whippets squad coming off a 43-25 non-league win over McCook (McCook, NE). The Whippets record now stands at 11-3.
