The Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA) basketball knocked off the host Burlington Grayhounds (Burlington, IA), 58-43 in Monday's league test.
The Blue Devils (5-8) will now prepare for their test against Central Clinton (DeWitt, IA). The Sabers go into the Mississippi test with a 8-4 record.
The Grayhounds now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Davenport West for a Mississippi test on Tuesday, January 17. Burlington will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 60-20 league loss to North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-8.
