Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Butler Lynx (Chicago, IL), 70-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Trinity upgrades its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Blazers host Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL) to play the Broncos in a Girls Catholic - Red bout on Thursday, January 19. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 17-4. Montini Catholic won 58-37 in their recent non-league bout against Marist (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Lynx play the Comer Catamounts (Chicago, IL) in a Noble bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 19-4 season record. The Catamounts come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 46-9 league loss to ITW David Speer Academy (Chicago, IL).
