In Monday's non-league outing, the Central A & M Raiders (Moweaqua, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting South Fork Ponies (Kincaid, IL), by a count of 44-35.
The Raiders (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL). The Rams go into the Central Illinois outing with a 7-11 record. In their last outing, Shelbyville defeated Dieterich (Dieterich, IL), 52-46, in a non-league outing.
The Ponies now hold a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Meridian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. South Fork will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 59-32 league loss to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 6-13.
