The Marshall Cardinals (Marshall, WI) basketball nipped the visiting Clinton Cougars (Clinton, WI), 66-61 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cardinals (9-6) will now prepare for their test against New Glarus (New Glarus, WI). The Glarner Knights go into the Capitol - South test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, New Glarus got by Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI), 72-38, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Edgerton for a Rock Valley test on Thursday, January 19. Clinton will encounter a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 58-31 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, WI). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 12-3.
