Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Cody-Kilgore Cowboys/Cowgirls (Cody, NE) and the visiting Colome Cowboys (Colome, SD), saw Cody-Kilgore's basketball squad knock off Colome by a tally of 46-36.
With the victory, Cody-Kilgore improves its record to 2-10 on the campaign. The Cowboys/Cowgirls host Crawford (Crawford, NE) to play the Rams in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 7-7.
Next up, the Cowboys play the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) in a B Region 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Colome will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 59-16 league win over Bison (Bison, SD).
