Louisiana High School Basketball - De La Salle fells Riverside Academy

De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 59-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, De La Salle upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Cavalier host Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA) to play the Mustangs in a 4A District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 7-2.
Next up, the Rebels play the Crescent City Christian Pioneers (Metairie, LA) in a 1A District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Riverside Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 46-19 league loss to St. Katharine Drexel (New Orleans, LA).
