In Monday's non-league outing, the Federal Way Eagles (Federal Way, WA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA), by a margin of 53-46.
The Eagles (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Decatur (Federal Way, WA). The Golden Gators go into the 3A/4A North Puget Sound - Olympic outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Decatur got by Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA), 69-48, in a league outing.
The T-Birds now own a 5-11 record. They play next when they host Bonney Lake for a 3A Pierce County outing on Wednesday, January 18. Mount Tahoma will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Union (Vancouver, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-3.
