The Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL) basketball felled the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 35-22 in Monday's non-league test.
The Friars (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). The Ramblers go into the Girls Catholic - Red test with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Loyola Academy was beaten by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 42-35, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Lincoln Park for a Chicago Public - Red North/West test on Tuesday, January 17. Taft will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 100-22 league loss to Whitney Young (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-7.
