Ohio High School Basketball - Midview can't hold off Hiland

The Hiland Hawks basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Midview Middies to 44 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Monday.

The Hawks now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sandy Valley for a Inter-Valley contest on Thursday, January 19. Hiland will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 48-29 league loss to Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-8.

The Middies (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Olmsted Falls (Olmsted Falls, OH). The Bulldogs enter the Southwestern contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Olmsted Falls was nudged by Mason (Mason, OH), 50-34, in a non-league contest.
