With the win, Purcell Marian upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Cavaliers host Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH) to clash with the Spartans in a Miami Valley - Miami bout on Saturday, January 21. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Roger Bacon won 45-31 in their recent non-league bout against Wyoming (Cincinnati, OH)

Next up, the Gators clash with the Rogers Rams (Toledo, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 21. Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 10-5 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 63-41 league win over Bowsher (Toledo, OH).
