Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), 34-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Leola/Frederick upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Titans host Ellendale (Ellendale, ND) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-7.

Next up, the Wolves play the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers (Rosholt, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Wilmot will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
