The New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) basketball felled the visiting St. John Paul II Falcons (Huntsville, AL), 54-42 in Monday's non-league test.
The Indians (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Madison County (Gurley, AL). The Tigers go into the 4A Area 14 test with a 2-12 record.
The Falcons now own a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Deshler for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. St. John Paul II will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 78-70 non-league win over Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 19-4.
