The Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles (Edgerton, MN) basketball knocked off the host Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN), 69-56 in Monday's league test.
The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN). The Falcons go into the A Section 3 test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Red Rock Central went down by Wabasso (Wabasso, MN), 54-36, in a league test.
The Knights now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to MACCRAY for a A Section 3 test on Tuesday, January 17. Russell-Tyler-Ruthton will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 53-42 non-league loss to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City (Grove City, MN). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-4.
