Varsity Opponent (, ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH), 52-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Varsity Opponent upgrades its record to 95-294 on the season. The travel to Temecula Prep (Winchester, CA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Temecula Prep won 33-29 in their recent league bout against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School (Temecula, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Wayne Warriors (Huber Heights, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Springboro will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 35-28 non-league win over Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH).
