The Woburn Memorial Tanners basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Wilmington Wildcats to 41 in the Tanners league triumph on Monday.
The Tanners now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Belmont for a non-league contest on Friday, January 20. Woburn Memorial will battle a Marauders team coming off a 65-39 league win over Burlington (Burlington, MA). The Marauders record now stands at 6-3.
The Wildcats (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Red Raiders enter the Middlesex contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Melrose was routed by Lexington (Lexington, MA), 64-51, in a league contest.
