Colorado High School Ice Hockey - Pueblo County succumbs to Monarch

In Monday's non-league challenge, the Monarch Coyotes (Louisville, CO) ice hockey team bounced the host Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO), by a margin of 16-0.
The Coyotes now possess a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Valor Christian for a 5A Metro challenge on Thursday, January 19. Monarch will play a Eagles team coming off a 4-2 league win over Ralston Valley (Arvada, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-1.
The Hornets (2-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Kadets come into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Air Academy was ripped by Battle Mountain (Edwards, CO), 10-0, in a non-league challenge.
