North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee Park Prep overwhelmed by Lake Pointe Academy

The Lee Park Prep Knights basketball team (Monroe, NC), was overwhelmed 60-23 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC)
The Mariners now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cramerton Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 19. Lake Pointe Academy will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 62-20 league win over Vandalia Christian (Greensboro, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 10-2.
The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against South Pointe Christian (Pageland, SC). The Patriots come into the battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, South Pointe Christian trounced Emmanuel Christian (Hartsville, SC), 26-20, in a league battle.
