The Jackson Ironman/Ironladies basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Alexander Spartans to 40 in the Ironman/Ironladies non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Ironman/Ironladies now sport a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a Frontier contest on Friday, January 19. Jackson will battle a Blue Lions team coming off a 62-54 league win over Chillicothe (Chillicothe, OH). The Blue Lions record now stands at 10-2.
The Spartans (0-14) will now prepare for their contest against Nelsonville-York (Nelsonville, OH). The Buckeyes enter the Tri-Valley I contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Nelsonville-York was routed by Trimble (Glouster, OH), 70-65, in a non-league contest.
