Arthur Hill Lumberjacks (Saginaw, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers (Flint, MI), 67-58 in a league bout.

With the win, Arthur Hill upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Lumberjacks travel to Fort Wayne Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN) to play the Generals in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Fort Wayne Wayne won 77-54 in their recent league bout against Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Grand Blanc Bobcats (Grand Blanc, MI) in a Saginaw Valley challenge, on Friday, January 19. Carman-Ainsworth will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 72-61 league win over Heritage (Saginaw, MI).
