The Big Walnut Golden Eagles basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Thomas Worthington CARDINALS to 43 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Golden Eagles now sport a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hayes for a Ohio Capital - Capital contest on Friday, January 19. Big Walnut will meet a Pacers team coming off a 81-58 non-league win over Olentangy (Lewis Center, OH). The Pacers record now stands at 12-1.
The CARDINALS (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Olentangy Berlin (Delaware, OH). The Bears enter the Ohio Capital - Cardinal contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Olentangy Berlin triumphed over Columbus Academy (Gahanna, OH), 52-46, in a non-league contest.
