The Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) basketball felled the visiting Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos (Cerro Gordo, IL), 74-55 in Tuesday's league test.

The Timberwolves (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL). The Knights go into the Lincoln Prairie test with a 12-6 record. In their last test, Blue Ridge thwarted Cumberland (Toledo, IL), 57-45, in a league test.

The Broncos now own a 6-12 record. They play next when they host Cumberland for a non-league test on Friday, January 19. Cerro Gordo/Bement will encounter a Pirates squad coming off a 62-32 league win over Heritage (Broadlands, IL). The Pirates record now stands at 7-14.
