Ithaca Yellowjackets (Ithaca, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Clare Pioneers (Clare, MI), 54-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ithaca upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to St. Louis (St. Louis, MI) to clash with the Sharks in a Tri-Valley - Blue bout on Friday, January 19. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 2-8. St. Louis lost 55-38 in their recent league bout against Carrollton (Carrollton, MI)

Next up, the Pioneers clash with the Beaverton Beavers (Beaverton, MI) in a Jack Pine bout, on Thursday, January 18. Clare will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Beavers go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 64-53 league loss to Gladwin (Gladwin, MI).
