The Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines basketball team scored 90 points and held the visiting Cloquet Lumberjacks to 62 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Marshall for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 18. Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 71-60 non-league win over Barnum (Barnum, MN). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 6-6.
The Lumberjacks (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Superior (Superior, WI). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Superior triumphed over Hudson (Hudson, WI), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
