Hillsdale Falcons (Jeromesville, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH), 74-65 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hillsdale upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Chippewa (Doylestown, OH) to play the Chipps in a Wayne County bout on Friday, January 19. The Chipps come into the bout with a record of 2-8. Chippewa lost 54-46 in their recent league bout against Rittman (Rittman, OH)

Next up, the Raiders play the Black River Pirates (Sullivan, OH) in a Lorain County 8 bout, on Friday, January 19. Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 57-46 non-league loss to Clear Fork (Bellville, OH).
