In their next game, the Knights face the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game, on Friday, January 19. Currituck County will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 7-6 record after their 76-34 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC).

With the defeat, Northeast Academy For Aerospace and Advanced Tech moves to 0-14 on the year. The Griffins travel to Gates County (Gatesville, NC) to face the Red Barons in a non-league game on Friday, January 19. The Red Barons enter the game with a record of 2-10. Gates County lost 51-47 in their recent league game against Perquimans (Hertford, NC)
