Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Denfeld Hunters (Duluth, MN), 76-71 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Esko upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Eskomos host Two Harbors (Two Harbors, MN) to play the Agates in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Agates go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Two Harbors won 61-50 in their recent non-league bout against Proctor (Proctor, MN)

Next up, the Hunters play the Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. Denfeld will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN).
