The Hamlin Chargers topped the host DeSmet Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 64-46 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Chargers face the Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD) in a non-league game, on Thursday, January 18. Hamlin will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Pheasants come into the battle with a 1-7 record after their 64-32 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD).
The Bulldogs (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against More (Rapid City, SD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, More prevailed over Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD), 67-39, in a league battle.
