Georgia High School Basketball - Fullington Academy can't hold off Southwest Georgia Academy

The Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Fullington Academy Trojans to 49 in the Warriors non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Warriors now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Georgia Christian for a GIAA AA Region 3 contest on Friday, January 19. Southwest Georgia Academy will battle a Generals team coming off a 65-63 non-league win over Tiftarea Academy (Chula, GA). The Generals record now stands at 6-4.

The Trojans (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA). The Wildcats come into the GIAA A Region 3 contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Crisp Academy was nudged by Westwood (Camilla, GA), 82-43, in a non-league contest.
