More Cavaliers (Rapid City, SD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD), 67-38 in a league bout.

With the win, More upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, SD) to play the Kernels in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 20. The Kernels go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Mitchell won 57-51 in their recent league bout against Lincoln (Sioux Falls, SD)

Next up, the Golddiggers play the Sturgis Brown Scoopers (Sturgis, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Scoopers go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 82-42 non-league loss to Thunder Basin (Gillette, WY).
