The Middletown Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Upper Lake Cougars to 42 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Helena for a North Central I contest on Friday, January 19. Middletown will battle a Saints team coming off a 71-28 league win over Lower Lake (Lower Lake, CA). The Saints record now stands at 14-4.

The Cougars (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Willits (Willits, CA). The Wolverines come into the North Central I contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Willits dropped by Kelseyville (Kelseyville, CA), 76-45, in a league contest.
