The Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Redfield Pheasants to 32 in the Titans non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Titans now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elkton/Lake Benton for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 20. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will meet a Elks team coming off a 66-65 non-league win over Colman-Egan (Colman, SD). The Elks record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Redfield moves to 1-7 on the year. The Pheasants host Hamlin (Hayti, SD) to face the Chargers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 18. The Chargers enter the game with a record of 7-2. Hamlin won 64-46 in their recent non-league game against DeSmet (DeSmet, SD)
