The Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE) basketball nipped the visiting Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE), 44-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Fairbury (Fairbury, NE). The Jeffs go into the non-league test with a 5-7 record. In their last test, Fairbury was tipped by Tri County (DeWitt, NE), 41-16, in a non-league test.
The Bluejays now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Arcadia/Loup City for a C2 District 10 test on Friday, January 19. Ravenna will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 61-53 non-league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE). The Rebels record now stands at 5-7.
