Highland Hornets (Medina, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Buckeye Bucks (Medina, OH), 48-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Highland upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Hornets host Revere (Richfield, OH) to play the Minutemen in a bout on Tuesday, January 23. The Minutemen come into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bucks play the Elyria Catholic Panthers (Elyria, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Buckeye will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
