The Bears now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Pius X for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 18. La Cueva will confront a Sartans team coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans record now stands at 5-2.
The Storm (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Sandia beat Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 61-49, in a non-league battle.
