The West Mesa Mustangs (Albuquerque, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), 56-29 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Volcano Vista walloped Valley (Albuquerque, NM), 41-34, in a non-league test.
The Ravens now own a 0-8 record. They play next when they host Sandia for a non-league test on Saturday, January 20. Rio Grande will encounter a Matadors squad coming off a 74-57 non-league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 4-5.
