Indiana High School Basketball - Anderson Prep Academy ripped by Blackford

January 16, 2024: Hartford City, IN 47348

The Blackford Bruins basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Anderson Prep Academy Jets to 19 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frankton for a Central Indiana contest on Friday, January 19. Blackford will battle a Eagles team coming off a 47-46 non-league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 13-7.

The Jets (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Indiana School for the Deaf (Indianapolis, IN). The Deaf Hoosiers enter the non-league contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Indiana School for the Deaf triumphed over Irvington Preparatory Academy (Indianapolis, IN), 66-18, in a non-league contest.
