The Westerville Central Warhawks (Westerville, OH) basketball felled the visiting Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH), 40-28 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Warhawks (12-2) will now prepare for their test against New Albany (New Albany, OH). The Eagles go into the Ohio Capital - Ohio test with a 5-10 record. In their last test, New Albany was beaten by Sheridan (Thornville, OH), 51-27, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus Academy for a Central Buckeye League test on Friday, January 19. Bexley will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 40-29 non-league loss to Elgin (Marion, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 5-6.
