Wheaton Academy Warriors (West Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Chicago Christian Knights (Palos Heights, IL), 61-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Wheaton Academy upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Warriors host Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL) to play the Fightin' Irish in a Chicagoland Christian bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Fightin' Irish go into the bout with a record of 15-4. Bishop McNamara lost 44-41 in their recent non-league bout against IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL)

Next up, the Knights play the Chicago University Maroons (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Chicago Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 42-23 non-league loss to Northside (Chicago, IL).
