The Douglas Patriots basketball team (Box Elder, SD), was overwhelmed 65-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Riggs Governors (Pierre, SD)
The Governors now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandon Valley for a AA battle on Thursday, January 18. Riggs will confront a Lynx team coming off a 49-42 league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD). The Lynx record now stands at 4-3.
The Patriots (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD). The Spartans come into the AA battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Spearfish trounced Hill City (Hill City, SD), 43-32, in a non-league battle.
