The Lubbock Titans Titans basketball team (Lubbock, TX), was overwhelmed 70-31 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Friona Chieftans (Friona, TX)

The Chieftans now possess a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muleshoe for a 3A Region I District 3 battle on Friday, January 19. Friona will confront a Mules team coming off a 47-42 league loss to Lamesa (Lamesa, TX). The Mules record now stands at 4-15.

The Titans (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mercy School Institute (Edmond, OK). The Mustangs come into the Freelance battle with a 2-8 record.
