Virginia High School Basketball - Great Bridge ripped by Nansemond River

The Nansemond River Warriors basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 24 in the Warriors league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a Southeastern contest on Friday, January 19. Nansemond River will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-10.
The Wildcats (4-9) will now prepare for their contest against Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Oaks enter the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Norfolk Collegiate triumphed over Portsmouth Christian (Portsmouth, VA), 51-13, in a non-league contest.
