In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD) basketball squad felled the visiting Howard Tigers (Howard, SD), by a margin of 59-43.
The Beavers (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Canistota (Canistota, SD). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Canistota thwarted Freeman Academy/Marion (Freeman, SD), 50-23, in a non-league outing.
The Tigers now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bridgewater/Emery for a B Region 3 outing on Thursday, January 18. Howard will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 66-39 non-league loss to Kimball/White Lake (Kimball, SD). The Huskies record now stands at 3-6.
